What is a thermostatic radiator valve

A thermostatic valve is shut-off y using a cartridge or sensor that acts upon changes in temperature. A radiator valve is a control of flow into a radiator or heat emitter that is closed by a pin restricting the aperture of an inlet. When combined with a thermostatic cartridge the operation becomes automatic and it is not a manual operating valve. All of BiWorld Fluid Control thermostatic radiator valves incorporate a frost protection setting and are not a positive shut off valve, A fully positive shut off head is required and often called a decorators cap, these plastic caps screw fully onto the valve head and close the pin to stop any flow through the valve.
